New edition, revised and enlarged by Deshayes, professor of mathematics, and published by Nicolas Bion, the famous manufacturer of scientific instruments. The volume is illustrated with figures in the text and a fold-out plate depicting the proportional compass.

Denis Henrion (d. c. 1632) is best known for his translations of Euclid and for having published one of the first treatises on logarithms in France (Paris 1626).
